Your browser is no longer just a client—it’s an active node in a global mesh of edge intelligence. As you browse the open web, the Teneo Agent observes public data signals, structures them into standardized signals, and feeds them back into our decentralized graph. Every scroll, click, and heartbeat turns into community-powered data, reclaiming insights once locked behind closed APIs.

From Node to Agent

Previously, the Community Node quietly reported connectivity. Today’s Testnet release transforms that service into an autonomous agent. In Observer Mode, your agent mirrors your browsing, silently processing relevant signals. Switch to Autonomous Mode, and it takes charge, navigating and collecting at scale without intervention. In both cases, your actions become the earliest proof-points of Teneo’s distributed coordination system.

What Is a Testnet?

This isn’t a developer sandbox. It’s a public proving ground for hundreds of thousands of ordinary devices acting as one living system. Real workloads run here: agent-based extraction of public data, JSON formatting, and secure WebSocket heartbeats every 15 minutes. Phase 1 validates stability, performance, and community engagement before we add SDKs, hackathons, test tokens, and full Mainnet token mechanics.

Observer and Autonomous modes are just the beginning. As the network evolves, features like mission-based coordination and agent-to-agent chat will expand how agents operate and collaborate.

Edge-Based Activation

• Observer Mode mirrors your activity on 𝕏, processing only the public content you naturally come across while browsing.
• Autonomous Mode allows your agent to navigate on its own, continuously processing public content without your input.

Under both modes, a regular 15-minute heartbeat is logged in the Dashboard to confirm your agent’s connectivity and reward accrual. This heartbeat system prevents silent drops, ensures accurate reward accounting, and only counts points after successful content transfer—making it central to both participation and trust.

Agent Workflow

1. Connection: Extension opens a WebSocket and begins heartbeats.
2. Data Processing: In Observer or Autonomous mode, the agent runs lightweight browser automation to connect data signals, metadata, timestamps, and engagement metrics.
3. Signal Packaging: Noise is filtered out; only structured JSON templates are created.
4. Delivery: If you’ve enabled Contribute & Earn, those signals are shared with the network during each heartbeat, fueling Teneo’s decentralized AI layer and earning you rewards. In Local Use Only mode, the same AIR tasks run privately on your device, powering your personal dashboard with no data shared or points issued.

Dashboard & Golden Tickets

Your Dashboard shows live charts of heartbeats logged, signals gathered, and total data volume processed. It also includes the Golden Agent Ticket system, a limited NFT that grants early access to the Testnet during the rollout phase. If the NFT is in your wallet, you’ll need to activate it through the Dashboard to gain access.

After collecting 10,000 signals, you’ll be able to mint up to three Golden Agent Tickets directly from the Dashboard and send them to others, helping grow the network through trusted, organic invites.

Only content that has been processed and successfully transmitted during a heartbeat is counted. Each valid signal is worth 1 point, with a daily cap of 16,800 points.

To activate your agent and join the Testnet, make sure your Machine ID is created, your X and Discord accounts are linked, and your Golden Agent Ticket is active in your wallet and Dashboard.

Decentralized by Design

No central servers mediate this Testnet. Each agent runs independently on your device, following shared protocols. If a node goes offline, or a heartbeat fails, rewards pause until reconnection. This built-in resilience embodies Teneo’s vision of a permissionless, community-run AI infrastructure.
